The most important job in the world is parenting! Parenting can also be very challenging especially in a chaotic and ever-changing world. We each are doing the best we can. And as parents our most important tool is modeling; living life as a positive example for our children. Equally it is important to take care of our own personal needs in order to give to our children.

Simply, we can't give what we don't have.

If you are unhappy or want to deepen your relationship with your child, take the lead and make the commitment to learn new skills. Experiment by incorporating one parenting technique at a time, practice getting good at it and then move on to the next skill. Team up with other parents and support one another. Together we can make a difference one child at a time.
